A Perfect Pair Sibling Team Powers the Success of A Perfect Pear Catering

Eating “clean” can be a challenge when one is attending a catered event; you don’t always know in advance what will be served and how it was prepared. But Krissy Willer, one of the owners of A Perfect Pear Catering of Melbourne, wants guests to know that their dishes are prepared using only the freshest ingredients from local sources.
“Eating clean is a lifestyle and takes prep on both ends,” she says. “The person preparing it and the person who eats it. We strive on using the most fresh, local, and fun to eat fare! We take each person’s likes, dislikes, allergies and diets into consideration when preparing the menu.”
Willer launched A Perfect Pear Catering in 2006 with her brother, Jim Sheridan, and run it with help from their mother, Mary Curran?combining more than 30 years experience in the food service industry. Fully insured and licensed in the state of Florida, they can cater any size event from small parties to weddings, corporate lunches, and company holiday parties.
The catering company makes quiches, sandwiches and casseroles for breakfast as well as platters, salads, entrees, side dishes, and desserts. Their “Perfect Fit” menu includes healthy low-fat options such as lean proteins, sautéed fresh veggies, and low calorie snacks including kale chips and hummus. “All our recipes are our own and we hand make almost everything we sell,” says Willer.
The most popular menu choices vary according to Willer. “We are known for our small bites that are delicious and easy to eat while enjoying a drink with friends, family, and business acquaintances,” she says. “We sell a lot of our Mozzarella Caprice Skewers. They are fun to eat, fresh and delicious. Chicken Francease is also a popular dish because it’s a very tender lemon butter dish that is great for lunch or dinner. We make Brazilian Empanadas that is becoming very popular as well.”
They also provide a variety of unique platters with cold, hot, and sandwich options. Choices include jumbo shrimp served with cocktail sauce and lemon, blackened Ahi tuna that is seared and presented with Ponzu sauce, and homemade brochette served with crisps. They also create dessert platters such as chocolate dipped fresh strawberries, assorted cookies, and brownies.
Reviewers on Facebook are raving about the food quality and fair prices, and A Perfect Pear is quickly gaining a reputation for its service and customizable menu options. “My brother and I put our heart and soul into catering for the masses,” says Willer. “Our goal is to provide the best service possible to keep our great reputation going strong.”
